@MIKECNW couldn't agree more. Definitely one of the most haunting SS films for me. Some combination of childhood flashback for the girl's clothing, the 8mm look of the film (exposure and color), the speeded up shots with her under the blanket, and of course the strange mix of music. I wish I could easily find recordings of the type of music found in the last part - I'd be bankrupt.
It was kind of scary around 0:35 where the girl under the blanket appeared and that dark sounding music started playing. It was like a four legged monster blob coming for everyone.

The girl is very enthused, the narratrice sounds very enthused, & my 2 daughters were laughing sillily! :)

I love those classic analog synths during the first few seconds! Also sounds like a CR-76, but that wasn't invented till the 1980s. Peace.
