  • That is Hyper Street Fighter 2 Anniversary Edition for either PS2 or Xbox. Not SF2T for 3DO

  • @MrLicky106 You are wrong. This is direct from my 3DO. The PS2 and Xbox shared the same soundtrack which is probably where the confusion is coming from.

  • Wow the audio quality is amazing! Why did the 3DO flop so badly when its capabilities were so good?

The CPU wasn't very fast, but the graphics and audio were great and the OS was apparently pretty decent. Shame really, maybe it was just too expensive.

  • @batlin Purely on price. $700 for a console, even today, is well beyond what the market will bear. By the time the price came down to reasonable levels, the PlayStation had better capabilities and games.

  • Still waiting for Capcom to top the SFII series' stages and music.

  • @DanielFSMedeiros Look closer. It's in there.

  • No parallax scrolling at all.

  • Playing this destroyed your hands though. The 3do was notorious for its stiff and poorly made dpads, and you felt it with this game.

Also keep in mind that this predated the playstation launch by two years, and and for people still playing the SNES and Genesis, this was a huge leap forwards. People who paid 799 were early console adopters to the 3-d era.

  • @jowrab Saturn had pretty decent support actually, and so did the N64. Sega and Nintendo had more contacts than Sony at the time.

  • @anunnaki2006 You would have been better off using that money on a slot machine. The 3D0 was a money burning machine. That's top end PC money you wasted on a white elephant. Only 2 years later it was already technologically obsolete.

  • @MrLicky106 you are wrong.

  • @jowrab actually the saturn had did have 3rd party suport by most developers, but they all transfered to sony towords the end of saturns life cicle,it had nothing to do with sony's money.capcom and snk leaned more towords the saturn then they did the playstaion, because the saturn had the ram to suport perfect ports of their games.
