Sweet. Thanks for the feed back looks like I will be getting a Q2!

Awesome video man, very thorough! I will be using this to mod my stick in the future, thnx!

@POPSKNZ Yup, As long as you use Quick Disconnects to connect to the buttons, that PCB should work just fine. Other than that, it's common ground and uses USB, so have at it!

Also is there a way i can jerry-rig the start button to light up as well (with one of the buttons) as long as i make an extra LED button for the start button?

@mrsixonenine You could connect an additional Common Anode RGB LED where the start button is, though there's no way to connect it (without some serious circuitry) to work on start button press. You can connect all of the cathode legs to RGB to get it to light up the same color as the rest of the buttons. Uilas do not fit 24mm buttons, just FYI. Connect the Common Annode to the 5V of power.

I was wondering if this mod works on the QANBA Q2/Q4 sticks im thinking about getting either and wanted to be sure this mod was a go before purchasing either stick...thxs.

@mrsixonenine The Q4RAF is a bit of a tricky one. It is Common Ground, has USB, and uses QDs, but the board has a strange inversion scheme on the triggers, which can make it work very weirdly with other PCBs. There hasn't been much documentation on modding it, simply because it is already dual-system Sanwa out of the box. The Q2 works, Common Ground, has QDs, and is USB!

Is it possible to turn off the led's? If I'm playing in the dark in might be distracting and I know the people at my local tournaments will complain.

@CaptainScrambles There isn't a software fix I know of, though there may be, but you could always unplug the harness connected to the LEDs and buttons to disable it.
