  • Don't forget, at Sam's Club that big Philly Cream Cheese.

Have a mock danish, See Bowulf's YouTube Recipe.

Put in some real Blueberrys, just about 1/3rd hadfull and extend microwave time to 2minutes 30 sec and top with sugar free Smuckers Blackberry Preserve and butter.

Oh boy...great panacake substitute by the way.

  • I buy that all the time! :)

  • The only trouble with the "cheap" meats you recommend is that they're often full of who-knows-what kinds of preservatives and chemicals. Yeccch.

Have you ever considered creating a video for those who want to go low-carb and stay environmentally-friendly? I think a lot of people would be interested.

  • Oh, you can definitely be environmentally-friendly by reading your labels carefully and buying the good stuff. But oftentimes that will cost you more money when you do which was NOT the purpose of this video. But I appreciate your comments. :)

  • Great tips, thanks for posting. Some more ideas: Kroger has 73%/27% ground beef in 5 lb. rolls for <$10.00. The rendered fat that doesn't go over my greens, I add to my leaner meats. All this stuff goes a long way since it's so satisfying. I also switched from diet pop to iced decaf green tea. Even though I "splurge" on organic greens and coconut oil, it turns out that eating low carb is WAY cheaper for me than how I was eating. Thanks again. You're an inspiration.

  • PERFECT! THANKS for sharing your success eating low-carb on the cheap, Marcus. :)

  • So true about how much we all waste on junk foods! I think I spent more on junk foods than I do now on healthy low carb meats and veggies! The low carb foods also keep you full longer resulting in less consumption! I have about 100lbs to loose.. been on low carb for 1 week and already down 4lbs!!! God bless you both! -Vanessa :)

  • Chopped frozen spinach packs are awesome to make a spinach dip and keep it as a side to eat with your chicken! YUMMO! I use 2packs chopped spinach, 1 bar of real butter, 1 pack real cream cheese, and sauteed red onions and a couple spoons of garlic! Top with parmesean cheese, bake 350 for 12mins, absolutely DELISH!

  • I like to sing...don't you? :)

  • It'll help you more than you know! I stayed on Induction for 4 months when I weighed 410 pounds starting off. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

  • Thank you much my good friend. I have been eating my 3 cups of salad veggies along with a little other low starch veggies. I make sure to drink plenty of water as well...I know that it is dire on this regimen. I am staying on the induction phase for a few months because I have an excess amount of weight to lose. I will be sure to get some "Fibercon" today.

    Thanks a million!
