that poor guinea pig could have drowned, guinea pig do not LIKE to swim, i have given my guinea pig a bath before (that being in less then a inch of water) and she wanted to get out, i under stand guinea pigs need to have a bath sometimes but that water was DEEP, dogs have drowned and they are "good" swimmer. i hope that people will stop doing that to the poor things, when a guinea pig gets stressed it will DIE faster, if you do that to your guinea pig you are shortening its life.

I really dont know - it is hard to tell from this film if the little pet was swimming for survival instinct, frantic to get out, or if he or she liked it. - I know my guinea is terrified of water she can't stand up in and have me hold her, like her bathing time. I read some comment here telling guinea pigs do swim in the wild. I'll have to check that out on Google - anyway, please everyone who has a wet guinea pig, be sure to towel dry them really- they get chills very easily;our vet.said so.

They swim in the wild to cool off. Now, I don't know that I would shake him off to dry him but I think he was probably fine.

I hav a guinea pig to I wish he could swim but I wouldn't put him anywhere near water I wuldnt want to stress or hurt him

you do not do that to the poor guinea pig! i have 4 of them all they do it take a bath in water mater thats only 1 inch MAX! they have a right to be happy and clearly that poor thing wasnt! i cant wait till PETA comes and finds you >:)
