@madcapzz The earth spins around the sun in an oval shape and on a diagonal axis - this changes through the seasons, when it's Summer in the US, it means the earth is leaning more towards the sun on the Northern hemisphere and vice versa for Winter. So Earth spins once a day, pivots it's position every 6 months for season, and goes round the sun once a year - it's amazing we don't get dizzy!

urghhh I used to wear the Elizabeth Arden perfume ALL the time and then it ran out and I never got any more and it doesn't seem to be stocked these days and I need a bucket for all my creys. the end.

forgive my ignorance but i have always been confused about the southern hemisphere. does it get warmer there as its getting colder here? because when its winter here the earth is supposed to be farther away from the sun then it is in the summer. but the earth doesn't split in half and one goes one way and one goes the other.
