Upper Gauley River Whitewater Rafting

i went whie water raftin in wv with ace twice and i ent once this summer i was in 4/5 rapids

each river is different, but yes Gauley season is sept, oct. beacuase of dam releases at the summersville dam. chek the release dates.

I'm doing this in september and I've never been before. lol, the vid made me a little nervous :) my uncle wanted to do a class 5 for his bday so that's what we're doing... some assure me that i wont die :D

I'd recommend doing the lower/middle sections of the Gauley if you have never been before. I'm pretty sure the lower and middle sections have a class 5. It's very fun and exciting. I'm doing the upper gauley in sept. too but I've been many times before.
