Rangers only sell out everygame because they play in NYC and at the Garden but they arent more successful than the islanders. Isles been around since 1972 which is 36 years old. They won 4 cups in 36 years. rangers won ONLY 4 cups in about 100 years and that = embarassing. And most people on long island likes the yankees, giants not the mets and the jets.

actually the islanders won there cups during the expansion era. Where there were alot weaker teams than when the rangers won the cup. Also the Islanders have not been contenders in over 10 years. They have not gotten past the first round of the playoffs since the late 80's early 90's.
