Agreed - he was a genius in so many ways - stunts, facial expressions, pantomime. Every time I watch him he just puts me in awe. What it must feel like to be that talented? I'll never know but I do know what it's like to see the best of the best - and Buster is just that....there will never be another like him....
The whole thing is good up to the last 5 minutes, where you feel the producers were thinking, now we have to cater to the Americans. I think this was unnecessary, but remember that around this time Ford Motors told Noel Coward that he had to rcensorhis plays if he wanted them to sponsor him on American TV.
definitely nothing like Gogol's The Overcoat, but still a good piece of television history. Keaton could've made an even more impressive act with a different script, I'm sure.
