WAVE1: May 9, 2009

At 2pm on May 9, 2009, a global event called WAVE1 will draw together people from all over the world with a shared intention to usher in a new era of peace, sustainability, and balance on the planet. WAVE1 will spread a wave of love and joy around the world, from one time zone to the next, over a 24-hour period. Participants are invited to engage in an activity for one hour, starting at 2pm, that will put them in the space of love and joy. This activity can include meditation, prayer, chant, dance, music, rhythm or anything else that has this effect. At the beginning of the hour, just set your intention for a new era of peace, sustainability and balance, and dedicate your actions to the Earth and all its inhabitants. Besides being full moon, May 9 is also Wesak and a key turning point in the Mayan calendar. It is an extremely auspicious date when shared intentions can be realized.
