I strafe, also. I played the hell out of this game so I know what I'm doing in it. I'm telling you I went through this level with invincibility and just raced through it without needing to shoot anyone and I still couldn't get that time.

@Smileyfacedkiller he strafes (press either the left or right yellow button) to run faster, and he uses mines to go faster.

I don't see how it is even possible to beat this game this quick. Does playing the game in invincible mode make time go quicker? Cause I've run through this game several times in invincible, and the closest I've got is around 1:30 seconds.

Actually when i made the run first time, it was 43, and time saved, but during playback i got a desynch which caused me to exit a frame earlier and got 42 :P I have tried to beat this run on at least one occation to get a real 42 but this run is insanely hard to beat even with TAS.

What the hell, I've watched this a few times and never noticed that. I guess he must've exited a frame too early, which explains why the end cinema didn't come up either. Bah that's disappointing, I wonder if the extra frame would've given 43 and that's why he stuck with this.
