webOS 1.4 on Verizon Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus

Palm released the latest webOS 1.4 update for Palm devices and the update significantly improves the experience on both devices. The device is more responsive, has a new status launching capability, captures and edits video, and is something that is greatly appreciated.

@brandonstokes09 Oh ya, I know that. Nobody else misses it for some reason. But dont you agree that it looks more like an iPhone (which its trying to look like) with the metal ball? Oh and also the original has more light features. It looks ALOT nicer and when you slide it has a thick milky look. The new one just has this thin line LOVE the way the ball looks when you recieve a text. Its cheaper on Sprint anyway and the update basically fixed most of the problems. Love the camcorder.

It looks worse without the metal button at the bottom. That for me is the one thing missing on this phone.

Can you use Chapura Pocket Mirror with the Palm Pixi Plus with Verizon? If so, I think I might prefer the Pixi Plus as I am a Centro user now and I prefer an always-exposed keyboard. Also, not sure the Pixi Plus got a revised keyboard and I like the physical feel of the gumdrop-like/sticky keys on my Centro. Are the Pixi Plus keys still gummi like?

@Britannic1915 no it doesnt cost as you start up the phone your registering for palm webos so they send over the air updates its like updating a xbox or psp

"And still hard?" Onko siis mahdollista ostaa tällainen laite ja pystyä käyttämään sitä millä vain operaattorilla? Uutta puhelinta ei ole tullut hankittua 9 vuoteen, joten nyt olisi jo korkea aika. Jos suinkin pystyisin niin hankkisin webOS laitteen, koska nämä muut käyttikset eivät miellytä liiemmin (Android, iPhone, Symbian). Tuoko jossain joku näitä maahan vai pitäisikö tilata ulkomailta tms?
