@garbagelane She's Irish, so you obviously are American ( I'm guessIng?). Only (SOME) Americans are so dense that they regard Irish accents as similar to English/Scottish/welsh. The generic American accent actuall sounds very much akin to an Irish one to people who dwell in the longer, right-sided island in the place you "guys" tend to (wrongfully) refer to as Europe

It's so strange, because I'm Irish and know straight away how her name is pronounced and then i come on American interviews and they haven't a clue,

Saoirse is really great. I loved her ever since City of Ember.
And seeing her making these really big actresses laugh, she seems so confortable. She is such a great actress herself, she'll definitely go far, and be one of those faces you'll never forget. :D
