Seriously, people, please do not give any money to Children in Need!

If you want to help children REALLY in need, please give to the Great Ormond Street Hospital, the world reknowned children's hospital. It helps lots of children around the world, and is in desperate need of donations to help fund renovations to make it a better hospital for everyone.

Because Children in Need is a bad charity to give to.

It's administration costs are far dearer than needs be, and because it's then distributed to smaller, local charities, like £10-50,000 those charities administration costs eat up what it goes to.

So in the long run, it's really not helping out nearly as many people as it claims.
