(TO SEE PART 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQ3IQFmAIKk )
What if the communists (and not the nazis) had taken over Germany in the 1930's and then in a II World War conquered the Europe and most of the world allied with the USSR? This video is about such an alternate history scenario, just one among many others in my book (to which this video is an answer).
This is just an exercise of fiction! This is the flag and anthem from the fifthies till today, of an alternate European Union superstate rulled by a communist Germany, in a communist dominated present day world still in a Cold War... between this EU, the Soviet Union and China... and the USA divided in two nations...
This anthem has two songs, listen till the end :)
(the second one starts on 2m 55s)

  • Given that Germans and Japanese are known for being law abiding and playing by the book they might have made better candidates to lead the communist revolution. Might have kept more to its original principles.

  • Придет время и вы захотите опять быть в составе России. Поверьте это время настанет.

  • @matt1784 DDR?

  • To add to Paxification, if they were to remain Communist even after the fall of the Soviet Empire, they would have kept to the true Communist ideals. Thus meaning that they wouldn't have moved for "world domination" as you could put it because that would be a push to Imperialism. They would only assist those who wanted a Socialism and a workers' paradise.

  • @Xilmwa

Beethoven ninth symphony. Good music but not suitable for a communist anthem since the lyrics are definately Christian.

  • @MyraiTrunks Well, yes, you can really only say communism is good in theory, because guess what, there has NEVER been a communism in fact. Communism has ONLY existed in theory! The USSR, Cuba, China, North Korea, the DDR, etc. ... all of these nations were State Capitalist Dictatorships using "Communism" as a propaganda format..... just like free market capitalism is used as a propaganda format in the US, a nation which is most certainly a controlled market, as we have things like the SEC.

  • @SkyeFische Only in Communist dreams! Bavaria became communist and the people rejected, fought and brought te Communism down.

In THEORY Communism is good and ONLY in theory

  • @TheBenbarton well said thak you

  • Your alternate history is stupid; if Marxism/Communism rose in Germany, there wouldn't have been any WWII or any "conquering" ... It would have caused a European "domino effect" and lead to subsequent revolutions throughout the continent, eventually leading to an overwhelmingly "communist" Europe that would PEACEFULLY unite under an economic treaty alliance that would look something like a merger between the European Union and the International Socialist Party, like you implied here.

  • ALL HAIL THE GDR!!!
