  • Glad you mentioned the Muybridge history. Worthington also used this idea with mechanical switches triggering spark gaps to investigate splashes, before Muybridge and without photography (he drew by hand what he saw during the flash).

See for example, "Worthington's mercury droplet splash animation"

  • @markdow2

Yep! That's an upcoming episode actually

  • I like the concept: Smarter every day... but why so much with weapons?

  • @Norfeldt

I just got back from Africa and went through tornadoes here in Alabama. Which of the two would you like me to switch to for the next video?

  • @destinws2 I'm still very interested in seeing how your tornado tour went. Did you solve your task without a gun?

  • @Norfeldt

Tornado it is. Stand by for the next video.

  • slow mo is way better lol

  • hey im installing a new stereo system in my truck and im going to create a custom fiberglass sub box. and what im wondering is if i should use that acoustic flash pulse generator for the neon lights im putting around the subs or if there is some other way like connecting both the sub and light wire together and every time the electrical current flows to the sub, will it trigger the light as well?

  • ok so I am not an engineer, but I was confused, at first seeing the slow-mo. the bullets stillness with all your activity is weird is like watching 2 interwoven timelines, neat. I take it you manually delayed the picture via the pulse generator, (really nice by the way, looks to be a fun toy for an active imagination) and each time the photo is slightly later, makes sense. really cool.

  • this is quite good, still feel a little uncomfortable with all the movement that happens when resetting the rig, but it's hell of a step in the right direction

  • you're genius

  • cool stuff

  • what a dork

  • Slow Mo guys brought me here!

  • that chicken is so cool

  • Man, with fake time machines it takes a lot of bullets to get one to fly in slo mo, its fun to watch the magazine go empty tho =)
