An idea I've have kicking around for a while. In the dark depths of winter, day Dreaming of a Summers Day'. Played on my excellent Vintage 'Thomas Blug' Strat thyrough my Fender Champ 600 and the line 6 POD ('Tweed Blues' all settings at 5 with reverb, echo and chorus for the base track, with the chorus removed for the single note work.

Thank you, I guess it is similar, David Gilmour does use major seven chords quite a lot on that album and major sevenths are a big part of this tune.
Have to say he is a great favourite of mine.
