Timothy, well known for his many television appearances, is currently co-starring at the Chichester Festival Theatre in the hit production of the "The Grapes of Wrath", John Steinbeck's Pulitzer Prize winning book written in 1939. He plays Pa Joad. Timothy's recent theatre credits include tours of Tons of Money, Hay Fever and Heroes. His television credits include Doctors and as James Herriot in All Creatures Great and Small.
He was smaller than I expected, but very friendly, unassuming and approachable; a thoroughly likeable guy. Must be all that time he spent with his arm up a cow's backside... that does flash through your mind when you shake hands with him... lol

@Gruntphuttock You were there? Did you meet him in person? Any idea what became of "Siegfried" and "Tristan" ? I know Carol Drinkwater is a writer now who lives on an olive-farm inFrance. Greeetings from the South of France.

@stellabeumer: Yes I was there, I took the video, so yes I met him too. Robert Hardy (Siegfried) went off into Shakespeare and theatre, I believe. Peter Davison (Tristan) did a stint as Dr. Who, but don't know what he is doing now. He crops up occasionally. Christopher Timothy lives with his current wife near Chichester and recently starred in the stage production of Grapes of Wrath. Not sure what he is up to now.

You can watch all the episodes in Netflix. I love this show. Thank God they kept Christopher Timothy after his accident. He made a wonderful James Herriot. The show would not have been the same without him.
