How to Make an Animal Pinata out of Paper Mache

I show you how to make a pinata in the shape of an animal. I make a dog but I show you how to make any kind of animal. This is an easy paper mache project that gives you a great pinata.
In this video my pinata also barks when you hit it! This is a small electronic project and i will show you how to do that in another vid,. You just need a ten dollar part from Radio Shack.

@horseysoar I wouldn''t count on the project to last for years. But if you put some salt in the paper mache it will keep it fresh and preserved longer.

cool i think we will make a black angry bird for my sons birthday next month. had no newspaper so made the phone book useful lol. His birthday is nov 25 but liek you said it shouldnt mold hopefully:) ANy suggestions on what to paint it or how to make it smoother?

@Darkvirtue9 If you add some white glue to the paper mache mix it will make it smoother. You can also sandpaper it after it dries. Adding salt to the mix will inhibit mold growth.

wow thanks this really helps!!! me and a couple of my friends like to celebrate the characters from our favorite show (naruto)'s birthday. our favorite charecter is Kiba, so we all spend the night at my house. This will be really cool because we've never had a good way to celebrate but now we can make an Akamaru pinata!!!! thanks so much!!!!
