Part Two (December 30, 2009)

Apart from the unforgettable places visited by wild duo Doc Ferds Recio and Kiko Rustia, serious issues were also tackled in 2009. In Isabela, Kiko and the team documented the confiscation of tons of illegally logged harwood. And in Vietnam, Doc Ferds uncovered the practice of extracting bear bile from live bears as an aphrodisiac, a trade which has reached even the streets of Manila.

2009 also saw the birth of The Born Project in which viewers were encouraged to make pledges for the environment. Doc and Kiko made their own environmental pledges and headed projects for the conservation of mountains and the rehabilitation of wildlife. Viewers showed their support by acting as volunteers, giving time and materials to augment the wildlife center's facilities.
