They had a woman a few weeks back, came out of a 2 or 3 year coma, and her first request was to see a Bob Seeger concert. I didn't know whether to believe it or not but it was on the news. I bet she got backstage passes too.

I got to see Seger during this series of shows (5 in all, but I believe they added a 6th) at Cobo. Just happened to be back home for a week long visit from Illinois. The shows were all sold out so I had to pay a scalper $120 for 4 tickets. That was a lot of $ for tickets in those days, even from a scalper. He hooked us up well, however. 6 rows from the stage, just a little left of center. Been to a LOT of concerts, but this one still stands above them all! Seger at Cobo, you just can't top that!

Always been my favorite song to dance to since college, early '80s. Even in a wheelchair, I can still "get my groove on". Still waiting for my chance to see this performed live in Detroit.
