Hello viewers. Here is my 20gal fish tank. I know, it's not that exiting but i'm kind of proud of it. In the beginning you can see the exoskeleton of the vamp shrimp. Here is a list of the creatures and their ratings(5 is hardy, bold, and durable. 1 is meek, easily sickens, and hides constantly)

5 Harliquin rasboras(5/5)(Very peaceful)
2 Glass catfish(4/5)(Timid fish, but hardy and easy to take care of. Very cool to watch it swimming)
1 Kuhli (or coolie) loach(5/5)(doesn't do much! Still very nice and loves the java fern)
1 Stub nosed pleco(5/5)(Doesn't get as big other plecos. Isn't doing his job, tho)
1 Amano shrimp(5/5)(very easy to take care of, cleans up the tank. Will kill ghost shrimps though.)
1 Vampire shrimp(2/5)(hardy and easy to take care of if you have a well established aquarium, but you won't see much of him. Very reclusive, but lowers nitrates a bit when he feeds. Clams are better)

I am thinking of upgrading to a 75 or 55gal, it's probably going to be some kind of bichir or cichlid tank.

p.s sorry about the noise. Someone was putting away dishes

  • Nice tank! How do you keep it that clean?

  • Well, it's kind of deceptive, but I do have a bit of algae growth.

How I keep it clean? Well a helpful tip is getting a filter too large for your aquarium. My aquarium is a 20 gallon, but my filter is meant for a 30 or 35 gallon tank. Also I do regular waterchanges.

This could be desputably but I have a algae shrimp that does an incredibly job of cleaning up the tank.

    Hope this helped you!
