http://www.thetechstop.net/?page_id=2201 . Want High Definition Wireless? Looking for an easy-to-install way to send your laptop's video signal wirelessly up to 30 feet away? Well IOGEAR may have something that is just for you!
Expenive, yes... but this is still in the "first adopters" territory. As with ANY technology prices will fall. As for the consumer applications... imagine a desktop monitor or home-theater projector that would "sense" when your laptop came into the room and automatically enabled itself as a second monitor. :)
No compression. Remember that this is a combination of two technologies: The DisplayLink chipset which allows up to 1600x1200, full-motion video through USB, and a USB over Ultra-Wide-Band adapter. The end result is performance as if you had the adapter plugged directly into the computer. (Up to 30 feet)
349 ??? i'll use cable then. Lol seriously ! the consumer will hardly be interested, more for business use
