TRADITIONAL JAPANESE DANCE. VIENNESE WALTZ. MODERN.
This probably ranks as the most extravagant and ambitious cotillion productions i've ever directed. Memorable because it was the first time i've ever introduced props as part of the choreography. Accepting the challenge of working with a Japanese theme over the entire cotillion was very exciting. I was rather overwhelmed at first but it turned out quite okay. There were a few things i wasn't able to have time to do or introduce but as someone who doesn't always want to see the same versions of cotillions, i liked the things i came up with. The costumes looked great and the props made it worthwhile to stand back and watch. I'm very honoured to have worked on something this grand.
Special thanks goes to the debutant girl, the beautiful Rikka Mendoza and her escort, the talented Justin Abella. Thank you for breathing life into the main characters. i have no idea if anyone understood the close friendship that you share as performers but i'm so proud to have had the two of you work so hard every rehearsal to get the waltz right. You both looked wonderful together.
To the great bunch of cotillioners, thank you for being such an amazing supporting cast. I may not have ever had all of you at a rehearsal but i think you all did a great job nonetheless. thank you for the patience and support throughout every retouch of each piece. Special thanks goes to the cotillion boys: especially Karl Sanchez for sparking up the boys to pitch in a few ideas every now and then. Such a big help! To Arvin Rabara, thanks always for the mixing - none of what i do musically would happen without that most important factor.
Even though it's unpolished in many places, please enjoy my swan song to the Cotillion De Honor. Thank you to everyone who made my directing career a most notable one to remember. You've all inspired me.

Thank you for posting this in response to my video, it's nice to see some modern geishas for a change (they are geishas, or am I mistaken?).
