Her performance hits you straight in the heart.
There's no time to think abou it , before you know it, you already feel it.
Maybe that's why it's hard to describe it in words. I mean, is her timber? her technique, her cute expressions? Everything is just so beautiful.
I'll just hope someday she'll come to Brazil.

Interesting subject. To me good singing isn't just about smooth, & vibrato, & Pavarotti type quality. It's about being on key (unless you meant not to be), individual style, attitude & passion. You can pick on all the Beatles if you go textbook. Regina too. But they all have that thing that makes them great anyway. Just like Neil Young & Dylan. But holy cow! How can any Lennon lover deny this version. It's beautiful. I'd never say it's better. But Lennon probably would :) (sounds like him)

I just looked up M. Jethmalani. Beautiful woman, respectable job. But 'way better'? 'blows her completely out of the water'? WOW! I can't even comment on that. Maybe I looked up the wrong video. That has to be it. That's the only thing that makes sense.

Hard to find a cover that competes with the original... Ms. Spektor's just onna those people though... she quite complemented Lennon I believe.
