When a young woman comes to 221B Baker street with a fantastic story, it's up to the world's greatest detective Mr Sherlock Holmes and his able assistant Dr John Watson to solve the mystery and save her life.

Or failing that, to score some opium.

A superb cast reads a new Sherlock Holmes story written by David F Porteous and based on the characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

  • Wow, this is ingenious! The pictures and voices are great! Gotta love Jeremy Brett. ^^

One thing that bothered me though. Watson's first name is John, not George. Unless you did that on purpose, then I'll shut-up.

  • Ha! No, there's a school in Edinburgh called George Watson's. That was mental leak on my part - but as it's only in the description I can change that. :)

  • holy shit that was hilarious...glad to have been a part of it.

  • No need to sound quite so surprised ;-)

Your line about the dog being stabbed to death with the cake slice - that was perfect. It was a great mix of grief and bewilderment.

  • An audio-visual delight that shivered me timbers most heartily and had me pondering till the very denouement what in all devilment was at foot with that incorrigable deaf mute. Shplendidly bunged together by Master Porteous and his fine band of fruity thesps, brigands and Anglophiles.

  • I hope John Hurt was a suitable mask for Viscount Lindsey. For the second time, your line is my absolute favourite in the whole production.

    You scene-stealing bastard.

  • very interesting!

  • Hilarious..

I'm a huge Jeremy Brett fan & I thought you did an outstanding job as the great Man DFP.

I also enjoyed the other voices..especially Viscount Lindsey.

  • I was too close to my microphone throughout, Sisch - you can say it. I know.

The problem is Jeremy Brett (my inspiration) had this ludicrous way of speaking which involved immediate loud outbursts at the beginning of sentences.

(He would not have been any good at a game of Chinese Whispers).

That said - glad you still liked it :)
