@jacobestes You're referring to videos with Jon Theodore? The reason is because there were fewer people with shitty digital cameras back then -- shows that got filmed very often got actually taped, like with VHS camcorders, which are better quality than your average digital snapshot cam. Also, there are a lot less "old" videos, so there's that...

Why is it all the live videos with Thomas are terrible quality? The old videos have decent sound at least half the time.

Ugh this video is frustrating to watch now. I just came back from their show @ the same venue (Palladium) and it was not good. They played for 1hr45min, half their usual set and generally looked like they didnt want to be there. Plus I have a combined 20+ people's sweat on me. Anyways I look forward to their next not-suck album but do not plan on seeing them in the near future /rant
