This is the beginning of a continued series of me building a Direct2D Game Engine for 2D games. It is in no way meant to impress, it is just a documented demonstration of current progression.
Yeah. But i didnt continue, I got stuck with a feature I wanted to put in - Dynamic 2D lighting. But it seems creating dynamic brushes in Direct2D is expensive, very expensive. Then I dropped the project, couldn't find a solid solution. Now I've gone back to making a reliable opengl game engine.
