Friends have a emotional connection with each other, I don't think that makes them gay. I think that being sexually attracted to the same sex is gay, I thought that's what gay is. Being sexually attracted to the same sex makes you straight. Therefor if you desire to do a sexual act with the same sex, it makes you either gay or bi if you are sexually attracted to ladies as well. Either way it's not acceptable to be having sex with any "person" when you are in a relationship, it's still cheating.
