I'm on hold with tech support as I type this to see why all my FX and scenes are again no longer on the board and the restore function isn't appearing as it does in the guide. This is the 2nd time I've lost all my FX/scenes, thankfully both times at rehearsal, not a gig. I want to love this board as I do when it's working, but it's got to be reliable... Good luck with your problem.
Yes, you are recalling an empty scene. It is like trying to fill your coffee cup with an empty coffee pot. I have had mine 14 months, done almost 20 shows, updated it, used it outdoors at least half my shows, condensation from a mid summer show & more. NOT one single problem. After you update, the scenes are wiped clean. You need to import them into the software VSL, update then UPLOAD them back to the mixer.
Your trying to recall a scene from an empty location. You have to first save a scene, then you can recall it. I did have a problem with my SL24, the power supply had to be replaced, as the board would freeze at the most in appropriate moments. Now I have no issues, I love the mixer. Hope this helps.
I think I have the solution... After updating the firmware your recall settings got all to "no", you´ll have to acess the scene page (page 1) hit the next button and set all the settings that you want to recall to "yes". Same thing can be done with the VSL... Sorry about my english...
presonus is lying there lots of problems. My board would receive input for about 20 sec and then give a load clip and there you go audio would stop outputting and the board would still be on.
You didn't import the scenes back after you updated the firmware. You updated the firmware plugged into your computer right? Of course thats if you have saved the scenes to start with.
@kennyasalee Hi guys, I had exactly the same problems when I updated my StudioLive 16-4-2. That scared the shit out of me! All i did to have it working again was to reinstall the former universal control / firmware as mentioned above. But then, I don't think I want to go thro the same experience again! The downtime was unbearable! All in all, I still love my StudioLive!

after six months of life and the mixer is stopped, I discovered that Brazil has no warranty and I have to pay 700 reais to fix it.
