The BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme is now in its 10th year. As part of the BBC's commitment to developing and nuturing young talent this highly successful scheme has helped to launch some of today's most brilliant young classical and jazz musicians. The scheme offers them the chance to make recordings for radio and CD, work with the BBC's Performing Groups and perform live at events including the BBC Proms. • Excellent work naturally. It is people and artists like Mahan that through their art can convey the message that true art must go beyond tags such as, one's culture, language, nationality, upbringing, etc. else it is not art.

  • Âfarin bar to, Mâhân jân!

  • Dear Mahan,

you are a fantastic musician. I love to hear you once again in a live concert.

    Nikan

  • you are sounding good !

  • OMG!!!

  • To avaoid damaging the original, you copy and tape the pages together so you don't have to turn pages in the middle of your performance. Unlike Piano, it is accepted to use score when playing the harpsichord.

  • he seems to be playing from photocopied music...

  • Hey Mahan...nice work, as always. Smooches from the Bear's Den in Ohio! and check out the Ciaramella videos...I'll put some of your organ tracks on here.. send me some pics! Hugs from Auntie D!

  • The performance is simply wonderful with no doubt 1 .

And 2 is that ... thats really funny !! I thought how stupid is to receive such ridiculous comments !! but I see that super talent performers such as Mahan too , receive such nonsenses ! Thank God the BBC has chosen him tastefully !! he will become very famous very soon and the judgments will turn as usual with no understanding so different ! we will see ...

  • OMG....The harpsi chords has all black notes and the sharps and flats are white.
