StarCraft 2 Petition: Keeping the Original Voice Actors

Yes but it was publicly announced that they are switching Kerrigan to whatsherface from Battlestar.

As long as the petition exists, there is a cash incentive to pay the original voice actors more money to return to the project.

I would love to have the original voice actors, but if they can't get Glynnis, Blizzard could at the very least "enhance" the new voice to sound more like the original.

Guys this is stupid. You can't make people do the voice acting with a petition. Blizzard would probably like it just as much as you, but that's not how it's going to turn out.

Want to force someone to act, kid nap their family or black mail them. Besides, upset fanboys are constantly bitching at the company. They've probably just learned to tune it out.

Bottom line is, if you don't buy the game, you're choosing not to buy it for reasons beyond Blizzard's control.

However, Clotworthy returned as Jim Raynor because of, according to Blizzard, much consumer demand. I have a feeling the petition played a big part in this. There were quite a few signatures that said they wouldn't buy SCII because of the voice actor change, and Blizzard probably saw that and reacted. It seems likely. Blizzard has always been loyal to their fans. But then again, I could be wrong.

I just don't see this as a reason not to buy a game that's going to be great.

Personally, I like the old Kerrigan more, and I liked the way the old Zeratul sounded. But it's not something I think you can blame Blizzard for.

You're right, SCII has many more reasons to buy it than voice actors. The reason I made this video is because there were so many signatures that said they wouldn't buy the game. I was worried about that. I'm promoting the petition here so Blizzard will have a higher chance of seeing that.

I'm going to buy the game myself, that's for sure. But I'd also like the original voice actors back.
