Greg Painters, Mountain Mod Mania ultamite tow rig build up stage 1 at powerlabs diesel. H&S mini maxx 4 inch turbo back with factory muffler. EGR and cooler delete, crank vent delete. airdog 100 fuel pump, stock intake gutted. and installed a 52 gallon titan fuel tank. made 320 whp bone stock and 480 with the goodies installed.

  • what i find funny is they are using a Bulley dog programmer. Use a a banks kit when its available u would net more power with less smoke.

  • @bhrodeoaz Banks has great marketing and some decent products, Honestly if your planning on leaving the dpf and egr on the truck then its completely pointless to add any tuner or chip. The added fuel plugs the dpf quicker causing the truck to regen more frequently. The regen process closes a thorttle before the intake manifold and restricts air into the engine witch forces the exhaust gas temps up to burn off the added soot. This causes a big loss of power and mpg.

  • @powerstroke24 it's not a fact of being careful, you put the comment and made yourself look as you did, again simple physics, you can't increase one without increasing the other, it how any engine works......oh and if no one cares about horsepower then why is it at dyno days in greencastle, pa the winner is chosen by the highest horsepower.

  • @spencerbrown2007 apparently you did not read my post, I didn't say anything about how one can have one thing and the other another rating, I simply said you can't have 1 without the other, when you increase the fuel, your going to increase the torque and the horsepower, its simple math, reread the post, have a good day.

    Is that why a 6v92 detriot has 200hp and 1100lb-ft of torque? And a 4 cylinder ricer engine can have 200hp and 130lb-ft of torque? hp doesn't mean shit. Horsepower sells cars. Torque moves them.

  • @bhrodeoaz It's not a Bully Dog it's an H&S programmer. Banks has nothing, I mean NOTHING on H&S except better marketing! Not all their tunes smoke, and their tuning is known to be better than Banks. Ask anyone on Cummins Forum.

But be assured there is some very fast diesels out there that will blow the doors off of anything. This new emissions crap though is really dumb and senseless. To put a chip on a new emissions motor is dumb and you will end up screwing it up. Other wise keep it real.
