The Inna De Yard series continues tackling the subject matter of Jamaica's capital with the Holy Trinity Cathedral. The religious landmark is covered from ceiling to floor with restored artwork from the early 1900's. Reverend Monsignor Kenneth Richards details the role of the cathedral in the community, involvement in tourism, and history.

I want to thank the Gleaner for keeping the comments section open, unlike the Observer.who disabled comments, which I think is ridiculous for a newspaper to do. What's the purpose of a newspaper if you can't express your opinion

Soursop,
This was a restoration project not a "new" project. They have restored the building to its original state.
Please get over the "black" hangup.

i'm a little disturbed why the images of caucasion statues and restoration being led by europeans. I 'm Jamaican, i know we come in all colours and backgrounds, but most of the church memebers seem black and it just seems a little awkward. II think it would have been better they restored it without the imagery, people should worship by faith not sight.
