Hey didn't come in early at all. As with all tv shows, they try to keep the song as close to 3:30 as possible. That part wasn't crucial to the song so it was cut. Same as the ending.
Compression for tv creates a bad mastering effect.
I've been in that studio 2 times and it was a good mix each time.

@radman19...yeah something was off not there best performance, Bernard microphone wasn't turned up enough or something he has a much stronger and better sounding voice than that.
