Another day - Rent / Jonathan Larson (piano)

Me playing Another Day on the piano. I'm going at this whole Rent thing all backwards, starting with hearing Seasons of Love, then buying the soundtrack, then the sheetmusic, and only now the DVD is on it's way (I love amazon...). I think usually people see the musical and get hooked, I hear the music and get hooked, so I wonder how much of a "renthead" I'll be after I've seen the actual video ;)!
Anyway, here it is, I know it's not perfect and only one piano can't rock as much as a whole Broadway orchestra plus band, but I sure had fun!

The live performance is much better than the movie. Infact I saw the musical first and was really disapointed in the movie eventhough everyone seems to love it.

A pianist somewhere should invent an automatic page-turner for sheet musics. Just sayin. I feel your pain. :)

Turn your pages faster. Instead of playing through the end of the final measure on a page and then turning it, I would play only the right hand and turn the page with my left hand. That way there aren't any little pauses here and there. Try it and let me know if that helps.
