Lyrics:

Trapped inside my self-capsule
For a journey into an atmosphere
A darkened space I'm floating in
Although I am not here

I'm caught, a room, it's coloured black
The trap I haven`t chosen
I cannot think, my limbs
I cannot move, seems like they're frozen

Peaceful existence in a world
Above earthly life
I`ve been there in this paradise
Where all is calm and nice

Walking in the other side
I can't tell the difference
Between day and night
Voices I can hear
Hidden somewhere, but they're near
Out there in this universe
Imaginary world of fantasy
Am I dreaming?
But It seems so real to me

Humanity denies death
Search for immortality
Melancholy desire
Can't become reality

No reason to fear death
We all will meet it anyway
A promised life in hereafter
As we will pass away

  • FUCK YEAH ECHOS OF DEATH

  • holy shit the riff at 2;27 is fucking Awesome. And Van Drunen's cry of the title of the song is so sick. I love his vocals. Great song from a great album from a legendary band.

  • @RockoDaGr81 Well i don't know about the best ever but it's definitely in my top 5. Have you "Effigy of the Forgotten by Suffocation or ...."And Time Beings" by Decrepit Birth?

  • This band was so much ahead its generation

  • @johnnybooker

where in indiana? Im in louisville kentucky

  • Coooool thing, this was Death Metal before it goes very low

  • Fuck yeah.

  • Martin Van Drunen...

  • I used to live in a "village" of 3500 people in small town Indiana back when this came out. About 10 of us consumed this music. It was good times...and this shirt probably got me locked up more than once...cheers.

  • Mr. Martin Van Drunen - Vocals, was really making the difference in this band. Pestilence in opinion is not as perfect as Pestilence back in 89 and 90 in Mr. martin era. Todays Pestilence is just the name.....
