@armenius28 But they do exist and Mustaine was in Metallica anyways, he did A LOT for Metallica and even if you don't like it, he was a big part of Metallica and Metallica started b4 Megadeth so i think its safe to say Metallica started it all

And btw Metallica did start before Overkill, don't get me wrong, i'm not a metallica fanboy, i'm a thrash fan but i gotta give metallica credit tho i love Overkill

@borregometallico True, but it wasn't thrash yet it had a fast sound and stuff but still not thrash, venom and motorhead had a thrashy sound too but they were not thrash tho they influencied thrash bands

And about dave, well he released his first demo with metallica never released anything while in panic
