@AutumnMaidenDove Great point - famous people don't usually do stuff like this. Ian is very different. He was raised properly so he has compassion for animals and the environment. Thankfully, he is constructive with his fame.
In fact, I think so highly of Ian, that I am becoming more and more disgruntled with other celebrities for their lack of involvement. After the BP/Gulf disaster, Ian was the only celebrity that spoke up for that area's people, land, and water.

@MJONES139 Ian grew up in the St Tammany's Parish in Covington LA. He has done a lot for them, raising money, etc. ( sttammanyhumanesociety[dot]org ) I just hope they realize how fortunate they are to have him. At our humane society, we have to sell candy and have pancake festivals to get money. :)
