@yaldram5 there r no zamindars in india unlike pakistan..in india zamindari system hv abolished 50 years ago. this movie depicted time of 1940s and early 50s where india had zamindar system..but in pakistan zamindar and jaigirdar system still exist...infact pakistan is run by to powerful block...army and feudal lords... but in india rural india is run by panchayets which is a democratic instrument in which elected body runs village society...
