  • Yes this header can be a dodle ( pain in the arse ) to fit. but makes good power.

  • Volk 91 I think when my freind ( Franklin of franklins vw werks ) put in the electronic fuel pump he may have put in a larger diameter fuel line to the turbo, not to sure the size though. Turbo city in california used to there rapid response kit which worked on 1.6 to 1.9 liter flat four air cooled. It just required an electronic fuel pump and stock sized fuel lines. I believe it ran an garret gt25 ( mitsu/audi ) on there like my motor used to have on it before I upgraded to the t3/t4 hybrid....

  • I sold the car to my friend. It was a work in progress and as you can see it needs paint, a roll cage and porsche brakes. My freind has painted the car and is sorcing Ruf Wheels. Hopefully he will put the cage in next, it needs it with all that power.

  • This particular setup has a deep sump with extra capacity on the motor and has an extra oil cooler with an electrostatic fan for extra cooling. I am also running this car in cool seattle , washington (usa) air which is real clean and real cool. Hope this helps.....now if you ran a car like this in mexico you want an intercooler....

  • I've turboed a few things but never a bug like this and it's a project I'm wanting to undertake, what all is done to the motor? Boost psi? And what is done about the blow off and such normal essentials? Also im prob gonna run a t25 like from your older setup so these questions are for when it was like that...thx!!!

  • I have the same style header and getting that thing on is a real BI*CH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • with running a turbo on a bug, wouldn't you have to run a bigger fuel line to feed that engine?

  • no roll cage? if you hit something at speed in that thing, it'll crush like a soda can!

  • those are air cooled engines. how do they stay cool with all that power?
