    being a feminist isn't miserable at all. if you are content with your life and the way you feel it should be lived, then do so, but there are other women who want more and they will strive to achieve that. there is nothing wrong with either perspective, just live and let live.

    I'm a feminist because I want better. I want to be able to walk at night and not be afraid of what a man could do to me. I want to be seen as a human being, not as an object created just for men to enjoy. I want to be able to speak out for myself and my rights not have words like 'slut' or 'bitch' thrown out me. I don't want to be marginalized, seen as 'just a woman' when I'm so much more than that.

    She's also really good at the whole spoken word/poetry slam thing, whatever it is being called now. The emotion doesn't seem forced and what she is saying is actually interesting
