Lisa Connell featured on Channel Five News with Ruby Owen

Lisa Connell featured on Channel 5 News with 3 year old Ruby Owen who has had 95% of her brain tumour removed through numerous surgery and radiotherapy.

Ruby Owen appeal was to help Ruby find the finds to go to America for specialist treatment to remove the remaining 5% of her tumour. Without this treatment Ruby only has a 20% chance of survival.

To help Ruby and her family with her campaign to save her life Lisa Connell put herself up for another date!

Before the featured was aired Ruby and her family had some really good news!

Not only did the USA reduce the costs down from £250k but they also agreed to accept £160k for her treatment which was the total amount already raised during the Ruby Owen Appeal.
