While I can understand the reason for checking (they are being thorough). It really isn't to outrageous to think someone wouldn't go so far as to stash illegal or harmful materials on a child to make it through security, thinking that they wouldn't suspect or check a child, because honestly, who would? Also, the person conducting the pat down in this video did act professionally, making sure the girls parent knew what was happening etc. Yes, it's ridiculous, but it is justifiable.

It's not worth it. Considering, the event would be rare--next to unlikely to occur there's no reason to put children though it on a regular baisis. Guilty until proven innocent, huh?
