  • I have loved this band since I was 8 (now 25), but I must say that I have yet to hear that! I do remember playing through the vinyl of Killers back then, but I sure don't remember that song! I have the studio version on Sheer Heart Atack and it is one of my favorites. This version surely takes it's place in the pantheon of greatness that is this band!!! My god, thanks for posting this! I must get this album on cd!!!

  • maybe this song was too long for vinyl? it was too long for youtube too!

  • QLK: Awesome Album: Brighton Rock: Awesome Track . . . .

  • the guitarpart from may sounds like a bach prelude...

  • @john16white always thought so mate notihng touches this solo or the version on killers

  • Glad i found this on u tube was blessed to see there last gig at Knebworth.F me I was only 22 and am now 47.But Brighton Rock from Live Killers album is Queen at there best

  • @rohance The next several notes after that don't exactly let up either. The use of the echo to create chords and harmonize with himself. Some guitarists play. Brian May orchestrates on guitar.

  • I love this solo. I was about to tell my stepson about the brilliant use of delay on it before playing it. I got as far as, "This is the live Brighton Rock solo where..." and perpetuus teenus gottainterruptus set in and he asked, "is this the one where he uses a drill?"

Ya know, I try to teach about brilliance when I can.

  • I love the 2nd part man its soo freakin awesome with all its sound effects!!!

  • @moozikaldood Get that on vinyl! That's much more precious that way. Nothing compares to a quality edition Queen vinyl.

  • I never really liked how Freddie prononced "how no I'm compromised, I must apologize" in the lives version, because it doesn't rhymes with "holidays", haha. But this version is great, the solo is amazing!

  • You know,,, I fancy myself as a pretty good guitarist. But there are times when I see or hear someone that just shakes me to the core. The first one was seeing Steve Howe of Yes play "The Clap" on YesShows. The second time was this. I caught this tour in Dallas. I tell you, it was a religous experience. This recording is great, but being there, hearing this live, My God, it took me 6 months to pick up a gutar again!!!.
