@Fleshshredder I'm lost now, I don't know what you're talking about not using lagarith? and no compression checkmarked?
I think you didn't read properly, I both used Compressed, I didn't show the option w/ no compression since, the fps drops to a shame,
Also please don't talk about x264 and reencoding, we're getting out of topic here. I know how to encode videos without quality loss, don't included it in the discussion.
@mdnpascual I mentioned the x264 example to show you that video complexity has not so much to do with the graphic quality. NFS HP2 for example is more complex for a video encoder than some new games.
@mdnpascual The fps you set in Fraps is the recording fpsrate. The fps rate which you want to have the recorded video. Isnt that not rather heavy HDD load then? ;D
I have bought fraps.
Again: If you set recording fps in fraps to 30, then you can get the following fps rates as play fps:30,60,90[...] So you would need that your pc can do more than 60fps while recording so that you get 60fps at game.
i think your hdd is to slow for dxtory ...

@mdnpascual You used DXTory Codec with compress? Or lagarith codec?
if DXTory Codec: Colorspace was set to 4:2:0 and not RGB? (Fraps uses 4:2:0 too if you dont have lossless RGB Capture enabled)
