This is very sad when one parent makes the children hate the other. But what about the parent that uses the other parent as an excuse not to see thier children what syndrome is that?

I too have been a victim of my ex of 25 years. My kids are more or less grown up now, but she has stopped me seeing them. There are some really good web sites out there, pointing out almost everything that she has done that sounds familiar. I just wish that someone was taking control of this type of vicious, abusive woman and stopping it. The message from the experts is, dont ever give up; and dont give up hope. You never want to be accused of not trying.....

PAS is something that's very common in Sweden where it is accepted by the justice system and the social authority's. Fathers gets punished and even sent to jail because of lies from the mothers. I remember a court case where the father was sent to jail because the mother had a diary with all kinds of horribly accusations against the father and he was sent to jail. In court of appeal the truth came out that the mother had fabricated it all and she was NOT punished for destroying a mans life.

This hurts more than anything in the world... im 17, and it still hurts me as it did when i was 8.. and more that I understand what it is..

I divorced my ex nearly five years ago and have been married going on 3 years. Ever since we divorced with joint custody my ex has been trying to get sole custody ever since. This is a 10 & 13 year old. I haven't seen them in months and have a court date 1/27/10. I don't have money for attorney and this is straining my current marriage. I have another son. Am so tired of fighting I wish I could just disappear.

I am so sorry at what you are going through. Please hang on as your children need you. taking an X to court repeatedly is a sign of abusive behavior. your X sounds obsessed and selfish.
