this is how you will know the republican establishment has their hooks into Cain when and if he wins the nomination.......you will see a Cain/Rubio ticket in Florida.

Cain thinks he can take Florida on his own, he won the straw poll there handily.

if Cain has his way I would bet he would choose a very experienced political person as his VP.

thats what he must do anyway to beat Obama, cant have two rookies on the team, wont work....so he will choose a big name to run with.

@Battlefoe A Cain/Rubio ticket would be fine with me. Almost at the point of throwing up my hands and just saying "anyone but Obama" even if we see a Romney-led ticket... :(

@computerpurple hey CP no worries - I get it too. Back in 2008 I think he really wasted an opportunity to really start a true third party movement, so I'm a bit disillusioned about him. At least Cain is NOT a politician, eh?

Would be a loser for sure, I love Ron Paul however, Florida is the main battleground for the Presidency and the GOP will have to win Florida to take the White House next year....Obama won Florida in 08.......GOP has to take Rubio as VP to cement the Florida primary....so a Cain/Paul ticket couldnt do that.

as much as I wish it could.....there can never be a ticket called Cain/Paul

Well said. People are waking up and realizing that our foreign policy is unsustainable, but the rate at which people are figuring this out is incredibly slow, and of those that have figured it out, many are afraid to vote for politicians who support those views.

well my friend, the ticket all depends on how strong the people of this country really are. This is one of the most important Presidential Elections of our lifetime . The people rising up and are screaming with a loud voice at Washington, the ticket depends all upon whether or not the people break and are beaten down by the GOP establishment...if that happens, Romni/Rubio will be your ticket in 2012.

If the people win you will see a Cain ticket, non politician.
