  • i have a a8002j amp and the red protection light is on. This amp has a voltage meter on it and it starts at 12.6 and then falls down to about 6.9 and opperating levels are from 11 to 14.4. i tried disconneting everything and plugging it all back in and still does the same thing. i tried just leaving the subs unhooked but the light still stayed on. and once i unhooked the subs and the rca cords and the light went off but the voltage still dropped on the meter... please help!

  • I have a 1994 Cougar, and when the radio is on the speakers work fine, but when I put in a cassette converter for my iPod only the passenger side speakers work, and i already tried putting in a different cassette and it still does the same thing. Any suggestions?

  • @OBARRVAGOS shouldn't. They should feel according to whatever temp of their environment. It drops below freezing where I live, and my subs are fine and perform fine.

  • @swaggbandit Is your remote wire hooked up properly cause when the radio is off, the amp should power off as well. If the amp is still on and powering subs when the radio is off that would lead me to believe that your remote wire isn't hooked to your head unit properly.

  • Hello, Thanks for your videos, these are very helpful... My question is also about speakers. I've just installed a new head unit into my 1997 Chrysler Town & Country. I bought the wire adaptor recommended for it (CR012) but the problem is that the only speakers working are the ones on the dash and the little tweeters on the back. The van has another pair of factory speakers on the back and one on each front door. These last four do not sound at all. They do work w/ factory radio. Any deas? Thx!

  • my subs keep hittin off beat, even wen i turn my radio off it still hits, i thought it was the amp and bought a new one but it still does it,what could it be?

  • i have question my speakers on my truck dont work the after market unit that i have works fine but when i tryed putting in my truck the speakers have no sound what could be wrong?
