Face down - Drum Cover (Ion drumrocker kit)

Yet another attempt to cover a song. not as good as some of you amazing drummers out there on youtube.. There are many mistakes... criticize away... Never drumemd before outside of playing Rockband lol, just showing off my setup for all you Ion kit owners... This was a lot of fun to play, and I will definately cover this song again when I am hopefully much better. I do think this a decent start at least.


Rockband Ion kit connected to PC via Alesis TRigger IO. Sony Acid Pro recording host w/ Addictive Drums Plug-in.

is there another pedal that can be used other than the roland FD8 pedal? how can you tell what (hihat) pedals are compatible with the ion drum rocker? ......or, are you just recommending the roland pedal? the reason why im wondering if there's an alternative, is b/c the roland is a little pricey for me.

the bass pedal that comes with the ion kit can be used as a hi hat pedal.....also the original rock band pedal can be used as a hi hat pedal, if you have the cord adapter.

Hey, are you using a separate pedal for your hihat? if so, please tell me where you get the pedal, and is it hard to hook up?

yes.... I am using the roland FD8 hi hat pedal!

i use a roland kd8 kick trigger pad... and then my bass pedal is a real pedal.... its a pulse single pro

hey man this is for your head strong cover the vid changed on me but i like the fact that you did mess up it lets me know that the ion can sound like a real drumset and its not just playing to a song with really good timeing. thanks dude you were alot of help im thinking about geting one. also like everyone says good job man. thanks for giving me some insight on the set
